As I had mentioned before on a previous blog post, I spent Christmas Eve at The Hilton's Galaxy Bar with my friends and loved ones. It was an awesome night filled with glam, style, good music and a gorgeous bar. I wore a beautiful black one shoulder dress with embellishments on the shoulder pad. I bought it from Forever21 some time back and was really excited to be wearing it for the first time. As for make up I kept my eyes simple with warm tones and eyeliner since I was planning on wearing a bold colored lipstick. I LOVE fuchsia lipsticks and have been wearing them for years! The lipstick I'm wearing is by MAC and is from the "Liberty of London" Collection. It's called "Petals and Peacocks" and is an amplified lipstick. The "Liberty of London" Collection had great shades and I got 3 lipsticks from there which I adore. I'm sure anyone can still find a few on eBay although they are probably way overpriced.
What I'm wearing
Face:
- MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW25
- L'Oreal True Match Make Up
- YSL Matte Touch Primer
- YSL Top Secret Primer
- Chanel Face Powder
- MAC Blush in "Pink Swoon"
Eyes:
- MAC Paint in "Bare Canvas"
- YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara
- MAC Fluidline Eyeliner
- Eyeshadows are from a palette
Lips:
- MAC "Petals and Peacocks" (LE)
How did you all spend Christmas Eve?

Warm Tones and Lashes.
Friday night my friend Elena had her birthday and we celebrated it at a discotheque called "Vinillio" in Glyfada. It was my first time going to a disco and I loved it! Surely the majority of the people there were ages 40+ but hey, they were the ones who really lived the disco era. Everyone was dancing, they played all the best disco songs and we had the time of our life!
I opted for a natural look that night, using warm tones on my lids with black liner, warm pink cheeks and of course fake eyelashes! By the way the lashes I'm wearing only cost 1 euro. Pretty cool steal e? On my lips I wore MAC's "Myth" with a similar colored lip gloss by YSL.
Taupe Nails.
Lately I've really been into taupe nail polish. I really seems to me as a great color for Fall and Winter. The brand of my nail polish is Tommy G, I have mentioned the brand before in a previous post. They are so far my favorite brand. Taupe or not? Would you rock this color?

Photoblog Day 14: Something you craved today
I know this Photoblog was supposed to be an October thing but obviously I'm taking my time. So amidst a holiday diet I thought I should blog about I craving I have had for years now, and hopefully for now try to get it out of my system. For now I said :P
Chicago-style deep dish pizza! *heavenly music playing in the background*
Chicago-style pizza is a deep-dish pizza style developed in Chicago. Chicago-style pizza has a buttery crust up to three inches tall at the edge, slightly higher than the large amounts of cheese and chunky tomato sauce, acting as a large bowl. The term also refers to "stuffed" pizza, another Chicago style. While in Chicago most pizzerias serve thin-crust pizza, generally in a style characteristic to the city, the term Chicago-style pizza is used to describe this deep-dish style of pizza. (Thank you Wikipedia)
Some may know that I was born in Chicago and have lived half of my life there ( I moved to Greece when I was 12 and I'm now 25, still in denial of my age though). So I used to eat Chicago-style pizza all the time! And especially at Lou Malnati's, I'd go there all the time as a kid (cause my dad would drag me there so he could watch basketball games and such). But once I would get that heavenly slice of pizza packed with all the goodness of an overload of mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce, I was in pure bliss. A Shirley Temple to wash it down and I was one happy kid. But it's been years since I've had such a thing so I guess you can understand that fact that my craving has been going on for years. I've made it myself a couple times and it turned out amazing but still lacking the awesomeness of the original thing. In 2011 when I visit Chicago I know I'm packing on extra weight due to some serious pizza-whoring.

Winter Favorites.
I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. ~Charles Dickens
Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself...
~Norman Wesley Brooks, "Let Every Day Be Christmas," 1976
I really love Winter and now with Christmas on it's way, our winter activities have a magic touch to them as the days go by. Everyday I listen to Christmas Carols and totally get into the Christmas spirit. Does anyone else listen to Christmas songs and carols? My favorites are: "God rest ye merry gentlemen", "Carol of Bells", "O Holy Night" and "My Grownup Christmas list". If you haven't heard them do check them out! I thought I'd share some of my favorite winter things and activities I've been doing the past winter days.Christmas is forever, not for just one day,

And Christmas gifts. I love giving gifts to all my friends and loved ones and especially crafting cards and doing all the decorations, love!

My Kawaii Nails.
I have be in love with Sanrio characters ever since I was a little girl. I remember myself collecting Sanrio stationary and exchanging letter sets with my friends (it was a trend back then, back then??? wait I'm 25 only I'm still a kid). I should really do a post on my Sanrio collection sometime.
Anyway inspired by My Melody and Hello Kitty I'm going to share my kawaii deco nails that I did last week. I also did my friend Elina's nails. The nail polishes I used are by a company called "Tommy G". It's a Greek company and so far, for me they have one of the best nail polish lines I have ever tried. They're color variety is vast and they run for about 4.50 euro a polish. They dry quickly and layer beautifully. I will do a post on their polishes later this month.
So on with what I used! I used for the first set a mint colored nail polish (Tommy G) and pink colored deco hearts. I think mint and pink is such a cute combination. And for the second set I used a hot pink polish (Tommy G), stickers, nail gems and white glitter. Hope you like them and let me know what you think! Would you deco your nails kawaii style?

Yankee Candle Lip Balm Review
I have been a fan of Yankee Candles for years and adore their scents. So when I found out that they had released a Lip Balm with all the good-smelling characteristics of their candles, I had to try it out! They are even shaped like their jars, how cute! And luckily they had released in one of my top favorite Yankee Candle scents: Black Cherry.
They make your lips softer and smoother leaving you infatuated with the delicious scent of Black Cherry. Packed with SPF 15 it protects lips and is formulated without harsh chemicals or parabens. This is definitely now a must have for me and can't wait to try out other scents of this lip balm.

Thanksgiving.
For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.

We give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way. ~Author Unknown

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated mainly in the United States and Canada. It is a day of giving thanks to all that we have in each others lives and a day where family and friends gather together. I have very fond memories of Thanksgiving while growing up in the United States, all the activities in art in school and all the stories we learned about the Pilgrims and the Native Americans. Unfortunately, I didn't celebrate a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year. Nevertheless this special day made me reflect on what I'm thankful in my life which I'm about to share with you.
I am thankful for:
1. My family and friends
My family and friends have supported me over the years I'm so thankful! Especially my friends who have been there through good and bad and are always there for me when I need them, I'm thankful and love you!
2. My boyfriend Andreas
Andreas and I have been together for almost 2 years now, and I love him so much, words cannot explain. He is one of the most understanding people I have ever known, he is always there for me and always truly listens to me. I couldn't be more thankful.
3. My cat Frankie a.k.a Meou
I'm very thankful for my cat because being an only child such as myself, it can sometimes get pretty lonely at home. My cat always lights up my heart :)
4. My dual upbringing
I'm thankful that I have had the opportunity to have spent half of my life in the United Stated and the other half now in Greece. Having two different outlooks in life has helped me see things without being judgmental and has helped me be more open minded.
5. My Blackberry
This might sound a bit silly but I'm really thankful for my Blackberry Bold 9700! Whenever I have had the need to get online but wasn't home, whenever I needed to snap a picture but didn't have my digital camera with me, my Blackberry was there! So I thank it very much and apologize for abusing it :P
6. My car
I'm really thankful that I have a car! In the area where I live public transportation does not really work for me and the hours that I leave my house. On a normal basis I leave my house around midnight so having a car to get me wherever I want is pure bliss.
My list can go on and on and on, but I think I'll put a stop here before I bore everyone, what are you thankful for Dolls?
