Tommy G Dual Transfer Lipgloss in No.4: Review & Look.

Lately I have been missing summer's warm and fun days and especially all the bright colors we wear, either in make up or clothing. But a season is not a reason to keep you back from enjoying bright and fun colors!

I really missed wearing yellow eyeshadow so yesterday I took the chance to create a look with a fun bright shade and a new lipgloss I had purchased recently.

 What I'm wearing

Face:
- MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW25
- Tommy G Long Wear Foundation in No.2
- YSL Matte Touch Primer
- YSL Top Secret Primer
- Tommy G Compact Powder in No.605 (for contouring)
- MAC Blush in "Pink Swoon"
- MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder in "Medium Plus"

Eyes:
- Any Jumbo White Eye Pencil (for the waterline)
- YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara
- MAC Plush Lash Mascara (on lower lashes only)
- MAC Eyeshadow in "Sunny Spot" (all over eyelids)
- Tommy G Eyeshadow in no.1032 (all over eyelids as well)
- MAC Fluidline in "Blacktrack"
- Sephora Black Eyeliner

Lips:
- Tommy G Dual Transfer Lipgloss in No. 4

The product consists of a lip color and a gloss to top it off. The lip color applies on smoothly and has a soft texture. After you have applied the lip color it dries out creating a long lasting almost matte effect. You can eat, drink and yes, even kiss and your lip color will be more intact than other. If you want a glassy and fuller effect top of the lip color with the clear lipgloss on the other side. I always do this, I love my lips to look full and juicy.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

Product: 5/5 ♥   Durable, lasts, great texture and smells amazingly (seriously like vanilla frosting)
Packaging: 5/5 ♥  Simple and cute, the double-end wand comes in handy in your bag.
Price: 5/5 ♥  At just 13 euro this 2 in 1 is very well priced for what it offers.

I would definitely purchase this again and can't wait to try out other colors from the line's range!

Sparkly Nautical Inspired Nails.

How I did it

For the gold nails:

First I applied one coat of the Forever21 Gold Glitter polish and immediately dipped my nail in the loose gold glitter (any glitter will do, the glitter I used is actually used for art crafts. Just make sure it's non-toxic).
Do one nail one by one and coat them in the glitter. Let them settle in and dry and they apply a couple of coats of clear top coat in order for the surface to smooth out and so it doesn't snatch on your clothes or come apart.

For the blue and red nails:

I used two coats of  Avon Colour Last Plus in 306 and L.A Girls Flare in Cherry respectably. Any blue or red will do. When both coats had dried I took a thin nail brush and made stripes with YSL in no.38. The polish was not as white as I wanted it to be and that's why the stripes are so soft, but I was too lazy to go upstairs to my room and find another white polish. Before the stripes dried I apply white and silver stars for them to stick on (forgot to photograph the stars, any kind of star for nail art will do). In between the stripes I applied the Forever21 Silver Glitter polish for extra sparkle.
Once all of that dries, 2 coats of top coat and your done!

Enjoy your sparkly nautical nails Dolls!

MAC Something New Lipstick: Swatches & Look.

Hello my Dolls! This is the look I chose for myself for Valentine's Day dinner. It was the perfect opportunity for me to finally try on MAC's #44 false lashes that I had gotten a month ago (http://house-of-doll.blogspot.com/2011/01/mini-mac-haul.html) and of course my new addition to the army of MAC lipsticks, "Something New" from the Stylishly Yours Collection.

"Something New" is an amplified lipstick (on of my favorite finishes).  It's a creamy bright hot pink and I would actually call it somehow neon, that's how bright and loud it is as a color. It's pink, vivid, loud, makes me happy, it's a keeper, done!

Now as for the lashes, I'm a sucker for anything glam and dramatic, so naturally they were a perfect fit for me.

MAC Style Curve Lipstick: Swatches & Look.

Hello my Dolls! Happy Valentine's Day!  ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I personally am a fan of Valentine's Day and I seriously cannot get why so many people are anti-V Day and always find a way to spit out miserable remarks on such a cute holiday. Ok so it's a huge commercial thing, but who can resist roses and gifts and romantic dinners? What? Your partner doesn't like all the lovey-dovey sugar coated activities of this special day? Then fuck him. You don't need a Valentine to have fun of V-Day, a night out with the girls is just as fun, so it's a win-win situation. Enough of my V-Day rambling.

I finally received 2 lipsticks I had ordered from MAC and today's post is a look with "Style Curve". It was a part of the Stylishly Yours Collection and it has a cremesheen finish. I was a bit reluctant about such a vivid shade of purple but I thought I'd give it a try (and hey I even wear Lady Gaga lilac lipstick). And I LOVE it! It's such a sexy color and so fun to wear which makes me nervous cause it's an LE lipstick (dammit). I wish MAC could add a lot of their LE to their permanent collection and make all our lives a lot easier.

Anybody have any plans for Valentine's Day? I'm going out to dinner with my boyfriend and a bunch of our friends and I need to start getting ready actually or I'll be late as usual. Kisses Dolls and have a beautiful day full of L.O.V.E   ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Tommy G No.312 French Manicure with Pink Glitter.

Hello my dearest Dolls! I recently came up with the idea of a manicure with glitter tips, I've been seeing it a lot lately and thought I'd give it a try. So this is how it turned out. Unfortunately pictures don't really do glitter much justice (at least mine doesn't or I just can handle finding the right lighting and settings, ugh!) which sucks cause in person it looked soooo pretty! Well I'm sure you get the idea.

What I used:

- Tommy G No.312 (2 coats)
- Tommy G Clear Top Coat
- Pink Glitter (after you've applied your second coat of polish simply dip each nail slowly in the glitter, très simple!)

Valentine's Day Look.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and being the romantic sucker that I am, I was inspired to do a Valentine look using different hues of pink. It was also a good chance to try out a new lipstick I got from Adriana Karembeu's make up line.

I was very pleased with the lipstick, at it's fairly low cost, I got a lipstick that's full of color, lasted the whole night and that has a great texture. I would definitely be willing to try out some more shades!

Enjoy the look!
