Kim Kardashian Inspired Eye Makeup.

Hello my dearest Dolls! I think it was about time that I did a Kim Kardashian inspired look, who happens to be my style icon. Many of you probably know that I'm a huge fan. Kim always has flawless makeup and since she is not a big follower of bright and loud lips, her eye makeup is always stunning and automatically turns her into a diva. Let's recreate!

How I did my eye makeup:

1) First apply a primer on your eyelids. I used MAC's Paint Pot in "Painterly"
2) Then apply a light nude shadow all over your eyelids going up to your brows. I used MAC's Pigment in "Naked" my all time favorite pigment.
3) Then take a small brush and blend a brown eyeshadow into the crease of your eyelids. This will define your eyes and make them look more deep-set giving that sultry and sexy appearance. I used "Cocoa Puff" from the Natural Eye Palette from Two Faced (awesome palette!)
4) Then use an eyeliner to line your eyes and wing them out like in my pictures. I used MAC's Fluidline in "Blacktrack" with a small angled brush.
5) Afterward line the bottom and remaining part of your eye with a black pencil eyeliner. Also use a brush or a q-tip to slightly smudge the pencil so it's not to harsh looking. Don't forget to do your waterline. If you can do the waterline on the upper lid too. I used a black pencil from Tommy G.
6) Time for false eyelashes, my favorite part. They transform you! I used eyelashes that I had ordered from Hong Kong, you can use whatever works for you. I only recommend you spend money on a good eyelash glue. We must be careful what we put on our eyes! Also for a super vixen look, add 2 pairs of lashes one on top of the other. I've been doing it lately and I don't see myself ever going back to only one pair.
7) Finish off with black mascara on your bottom lashes and on the top to stick your real lashes with the false ones. I used MAC's Zoom Mascara.

I hope you all enjoyed this look and let me know if you tried it out! Wishing everyone a happy 1st of the month, kisses!

MAC's 'Petals and Peacocks' Lipstick and Look.

This is such a gorgeous shade and unfortunately it was a LE from the "Give Me Liberty of London" Collection. I hate it when MAC does that, makes all the awesome lipsticks LE. Boo! (Sad face)

Anyway the lippie is has an amplified finish and a lovely creamy texture. It goes on smooth on the lips as it applies. It's loud and bright, and as far as color wise a lot of people call it a hot pink. I wouldn't agree. Calling it simply a hot pink does not do it justice at all. It's a purplely fucshia and that's what makes it so unique as a color. The purple tint to the color.

Since it's a limited edition lipstick it's no longer available in MAC stores but I'm sure anyone can find one on eBay or Amazon. Only thing that should be expected is that every seller thinks that they can sell a $14 lipstick for the price of $40 - $50 which is such a ripoff. I wish there were more fair/logical deals on LE lipsticks. Any thoughts on that?

I always love hearing what you have to say so drop me a comment down below or you can find me on Twitter or Facebook. Kisses!

Tommy G Hot Pink Lips: No.10 Lipstick Look.

Have I ever mentioned that I'm a sucker for hot pink lipstick? I must own about 10-15! It's such a sexy color especially for Summer where all the bold colors start to kick in. I personally wear hot pink all year long and encourage Dolls to wear any color they desire and like anytime of the year and not follow the must's and the don'ts according to each season. Makeup should be free, not restricted!

Anyway I wanted to share a new lipstick that entered my collection, Tommy G's no. 10.  The color payoff is great as it is pigmented to a perfect level. For those who don't know Tommy G, they are a Greek cosmetics brand. I have raved about their products many times and use them on an everyday basis.

 Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

This is my first Tommy G lipstick, I really want to try other colors too! Next time I go by their stand I'll take photos of their Summer collection, it's to die for!

I really want to thank you all for the great feedback that I receive on my posts! All you opinions matter and they help me become a better blogger. If anyone has any makeup/post requests please send me an email about. I'd love to hear new ideas!

Lime Crime's 'Coquette' Review.

After a half month break, I'm back! I was really busy with a lot of things but House of Doll is back and even more glam :)

As promised I'm reviewing 2 new Lime Crime lipsticks and first off is Coquette.

Coquette is a pale blushed opaque nude lipstick. I was disappointed to read that it's a Limited Edition lipstick since I have found it to be an amazing nude. I did not find it drying at all as many have been accusing Lime Crime of. I would actually say it's creamier than MAC's Myth. I wore 'Coquette' to the movies and after 4 hours without re-touching the lipstick still looked great! The great thing about Lime Crime is that the color payoff is amazing since all their lipsticks are truly pigmented.

 Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

I'll be reviewing Lime Crime's 'Countessa Fluorescent' next time, kisses Dolls!

MAC's 'Shy Girl' Lipstick and Tommy G Blue Eyes.

MAC's 'Shy Girl' is really what the MAC site describes it as, a creamy neutral coral beige. It's an easy-to-wear everyday color that works either for day looks or for a night out. Since it's a cremesheen finish, so to get the full color you definitely have to glide it on a couple of times. Not at all drying for the lips, Shy Girl lasts and also has a pretty glossy effect.

If anyone is looking for a nude lipstick that doesn't give off a "corpse" look, Shy Girl is a great choice with it's peachy hue.

Now that Spring is upon us, I have been in the mood for rocking bright eyeshadows. So it was the perfect opportunity to try out my new Tommy G eyeshadow in no.1005 and the result is stunning! I wore the shadow for HOURS and it didn't wear off! For proof the photos below where I'm wearing the Posh hat were taken when I got home after a night out. As you can see, that stuff is still there! Their shadows apply on very smoothly and are very pigmented which is a major plus! I'm a really big fan of all Tommy G products and always have a good word to say about them!

 Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

I will be definitely be adding more shades to my collection!

MAC's 'Kinda Sexy' Lipstick & Look.

The name simply says it all...Kinda Sexy! Couldn't be more simply put. 'Kinda Sexy' is a matte finish (again, one of my favorite finishes, awesome effect) and an awesome nude lipstick. It's the kind of nude that works very easy day or night and on all skin tones. It's a neutral-pink shade and the pink in the shade is what makes it work for everyone giving off a more natural-beauty look. Plus shades like these always make your lips look sexier and fuller.

Who wouldn't want to look sexy and pulling it off naturally at the same time?

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

I'm addicted to lipsticks so this is definitely a keeper. I can't wait to try it out with a glam-kicking smokey eyed look, I'm positive it's gonna be glamtastic!

Kisses Dolls!

Tommy G Dual Transfer Lipgloss in No.4: Review & Look.

Lately I have been missing summer's warm and fun days and especially all the bright colors we wear, either in make up or clothing. But a season is not a reason to keep you back from enjoying bright and fun colors!

I really missed wearing yellow eyeshadow so yesterday I took the chance to create a look with a fun bright shade and a new lipgloss I had purchased recently.

 What I'm wearing

Face:
- MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW25
- Tommy G Long Wear Foundation in No.2
- YSL Matte Touch Primer
- YSL Top Secret Primer
- Tommy G Compact Powder in No.605 (for contouring)
- MAC Blush in "Pink Swoon"
- MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder in "Medium Plus"

Eyes:
- Any Jumbo White Eye Pencil (for the waterline)
- YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara
- MAC Plush Lash Mascara (on lower lashes only)
- MAC Eyeshadow in "Sunny Spot" (all over eyelids)
- Tommy G Eyeshadow in no.1032 (all over eyelids as well)
- MAC Fluidline in "Blacktrack"
- Sephora Black Eyeliner

Lips:
- Tommy G Dual Transfer Lipgloss in No. 4

The product consists of a lip color and a gloss to top it off. The lip color applies on smoothly and has a soft texture. After you have applied the lip color it dries out creating a long lasting almost matte effect. You can eat, drink and yes, even kiss and your lip color will be more intact than other. If you want a glassy and fuller effect top of the lip color with the clear lipgloss on the other side. I always do this, I love my lips to look full and juicy.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

Product: 5/5 ♥   Durable, lasts, great texture and smells amazingly (seriously like vanilla frosting)
Packaging: 5/5 ♥  Simple and cute, the double-end wand comes in handy in your bag.
Price: 5/5 ♥  At just 13 euro this 2 in 1 is very well priced for what it offers.

I would definitely purchase this again and can't wait to try out other colors from the line's range!

MAC Something New Lipstick: Swatches & Look.

Hello my Dolls! This is the look I chose for myself for Valentine's Day dinner. It was the perfect opportunity for me to finally try on MAC's #44 false lashes that I had gotten a month ago (http://house-of-doll.blogspot.com/2011/01/mini-mac-haul.html) and of course my new addition to the army of MAC lipsticks, "Something New" from the Stylishly Yours Collection.

"Something New" is an amplified lipstick (on of my favorite finishes).  It's a creamy bright hot pink and I would actually call it somehow neon, that's how bright and loud it is as a color. It's pink, vivid, loud, makes me happy, it's a keeper, done!

Now as for the lashes, I'm a sucker for anything glam and dramatic, so naturally they were a perfect fit for me.
